‘First Take’ host Stephen A Smith has called Jimmy Kimmel out following the late-night show host getting his show pulled off the air due to an ill-advised comment regarding the murd3r of Charlie Kirk.

ABC announced on Wednesday night that ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ has been canned indefinitely following what Kimmel had to say about Kirk, who was k%lled during a speaking event at Utah Valley University last Wednesday.

The 57-year-old accused Donald Trump supporters of trying to score points off Kirk’s d3ath by trying to portray his alleged k%ller, Tyler Robinson, as someone else.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA [Make America Great Again] gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murd3red Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said during his monologue on Monday night. “In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving.”

He also suggested that Trump was not mourning with a clip of the President quickly changing the topic after being asked how he was feeling, given the tragedy.

Stephen A Smith Doesn’t Think There Was Anything Funny About What Jimmy Kimmel Had To Say

Smith, who works for ESPN, a Disney-owned company just like ABC, addressed the 57-year-old’s comments on his ‘Straight Shooter’ show on Sirius XM on Thursday, claiming there was nothing funny about what Kimmel put out there.

“Where was the joke? Because you’re a late-night host — and obviously that has a comedic attachment to it. Where was the joke? Obviously, it wasn’t anything funny about that,” Smith said.

Kimmel has also been criticized by other popular figures such as Dave Portnoy and Danica Patrick.

It’s said that he was furious when he learned his fate on Wednesday, as he’d planned to discuss his comments on the show that night.

Meanwhile, Jason Whitlock has theorized that Smith will take over as an ABC late-night host following Jimmy’s exit, claiming that Molly Qerim’s leaving ESPN is part of an intricate puzzle that will culminate in the ‘First Take’ host eventually making a play for the White House.

REPORT: Shocking New Details Reveal Michael Jordan’s Hidden Power Move With NBC SportsNBC dropped a huge announcement when they roped in the services of Michael Jordan. With the league returning to the network next season, NBC is said to have some big plans with the Chicago Bulls legend. While it is clear that he will be a part of the overall coverage, the media outlet has remained tight-lipped about the same. Till now, it was only known that Jordan will be acting as a ‘special contributor’ for NBC. But now, there might be some shocking details emerging.

Speaking on the topic, Alex Sherman of ‘CNBC’ provided some insight into the matter. He pointed out that the preliminary plans for Jordan are to appear in taped segments. This way, Jordan will be providing analysis on the games. These tapes are expected to be aired either at halftime or at the end of each game.

Sherman also pointed out that NBC will also keep the opportunity for Jordan’s role to evolve in the future. Extending the topic further, ‘CNBC’ also reported that the deal with Jordan was orchestrated by none other than his longtime friend, Jon Miller. Meanwhile, after landing such a huge deal, it is quite expected that Michael Jordan will be elated.

Shedding light on the matter, Jordan stated how he was utterly excited to be working with NBC.

I am so excited to see the NBA back on NBC,” Jordan said in a short clip. “The NBA on NBC was a meaningful part of my career, and I’m excited about being a special contributor to the project. I’m looking forward to seeing you all when the NBA on NBC launches this October.”

Thus, with things looking quite upbeat for Jordan, it now remains to be seen how things pan out in the future.
