Iran has launched missile and drone attacks targeting several U.S. military bases in the Middle East as part of a major escalation in conflict between Iran, the United States, and Israel. These strikes were carried out in retaliation for recent U.S. and Israeli military operations against Iranian targets.
The attacks focused on American military installations in countries such as Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates, where U.S. forces are stationed. Air defenses intercepted many of the incoming missiles, but explosions and damage were reported near some bases and surrounding areas.

Separate from the base attacks, three U.S. service members were confirmed killed and others injured during military operations linked to the wider conflict. These casualties reflect the seriousness of the situation but were not all tied to a single base strike.
