The body of a decapitated man was found yesterday morning, Sunday, September 6, on the side of the road to El Portezuelo, in the municipality of Cerro de San Pedro; Along with the headless corpse and the man’s head, there was a narcomessage. 

Residents in the vicinity of Cerro de San Pedro were the ones who, at approximately 10 in the morning, reported the discovery of the executed man so that the corresponding corporations could begin investigations.

At the scene, the body of a young man was found, who has not yet been identified, who was wearing a red t-shirt and jeans; At the scene, the head of the deceased and a piece of cardboard that attributed the execution to an organized crime group were found next to the body.

It is worth remembering that, according to data from the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System, the number of victims of intentional homicide in San Luis Potosí has increased exponentially in the last three months; Proof of the above are not only the more than 60 executed in the entity last August alone or the violent days that have been experienced in Matehuala and Rioverde, but the 39.3 percent variation in the increase in homicide victims in the state between June and July 2020, a figure that places the state among the 10 with the highest growth in those affected by this crime.
