(VIDEO) Officer helps girl say

The girl’s father was departing for an extended naval tour in the Pacific and wouldn’t return for several months.

As the ship pulled away from the harbor, his family stood on the shore, waving goodbye.

Hearing the children’s shouts of farewell, a nearby police officer stepped forward to offer a kind gesture.

He handed the four-year-old daughter the microphone of his PA system, giving her the chance to say “goodbye” and “I love you” into the speaker, amplifying her heartfelt words across the water.
