President Donald Trump pulled no punches when firing back at the moronic No Kings protest, doing so both in a series of entertaining remarks to the media and in a post on Truth Social that brought the humor to mock his enemies. Both attacks against the protest did a great job of pushing back against it.

As background, the “No Kings” protests first came with the unrest in Los Angeles as his border enforcement agents attempted to wrangle that sanctuary city under control and arrest illegal aliens within it with a major crackdown, and then returned with the government shutdown and Trump’s strong use of executive power during it.

Much as could be expected, Trump had no patience for that nonsense. One of his hilarious attacks was the Truth Social post, which consisted of a hilarious 20-second AI-generated meme featuring himself as a crown-wearing “King Trump” piloting a fighter jet, bombarding protesters with brown waste all synced to Kenny Loggins’s famous “Danger Zone” from Top Gun. While vulgar, the clip is funny, and very much angered the left.

Additionally, the president spoke to the press on Air Force One, and in his usually entertaining and clever fashion, President Trump dismissed any claims that he was a king, citing both the incredible amount he works for Americans and also bureaucratic issues.

President Trump began his remarks by dismissing the protests as a “joke” that is paid for by Soros and like financiers of radical leftism. “I think it’s a joke. I looked at the people, they’re not representative of this country, and I looked at all the brand new signs paid for, I guess it was made for by Soros and other radical left lunatics. It looks like it was. We’re checking it out,” the president announced.

Building out this point, he added, “The demonstrations were very small, very ineffective, and the people were whacked out. When you look at those people, those are not representative of the people of our country, besides San Francisco, I’m not a king. I’m not a king. I work my ass off to make our country great. That’s all it is. I’m not a king at all.”

As we at the American Tribune previously reported, President Trump has addressed these protests in similar before, as have other high-profile Republicans like Speaker Johnson and Rep. Nunn, who slammed Democrats for prioritizing radical base appeasement over funding the government.”

Doubling down on his previous comments, President Trump slammed the protests. “I don’t feel like a king. I have to go through hell to get things approved,” he said, adding, “A king would never have the California mandate to be talking about. He wouldn’t have to call Mike Johnson and Thune and say fellas, pull this off, and after years, get it done.”

Agreeing with Trump, Mike Johnson (R-LA), the Speaker of the House, declared, “It’ll be a collection of wild leftist policy priorities, and that’ll be on display for the whole country. After that’s over, I hope there’s a few Democrats over here who will come to their senses and return to governing the country.”

Continuing his comments, Johnson added more context. “Right now, I don’t think — it’s my assumption and all of ours that they would not make that concession before that rally’s over because they don’t want to face the angry mob. I mean, it’s sad, but that’s where we are,” he said.
